Welcome to students
What do we want to achieve? Looking at different aspects of entrepreneurship. Relating to what you have proposed on your business idea for the marketing course (or coming up with a new business idea) BUT this time we try to critically look at the value and the potential of your ideas (even if those ideas might be dreams, more than reality. For those upcoming 12 hours you must believe in it and take it as your MUST to make it successful. Entrepreneurship of course is far from being a science and much less than marketing, there is nobody who can ever tell you why and when a business idea will be the next killer or will be doomed within short.
Assessment: Your grades will be linked to what you do in class ( wiki page ) and your entreprenuership blog (for example wordpress) and your HiPitch presentation during the last 3 hours of class (5-7 minutes time to present and convince the audience that YOUR project is the best (this presentation will be graded by all classmates (50% ) and myself (50% ). Your assessment criterias should be on how convincing the project is presented to you as potential angel investor. Those presentation will follow the order of your classlist and you must be ready to start your presentation within 1 minute of preparation time, if you use technology, images, sound, effects, movie etc is all up to you. At the end the message must be convincing (one chance only). The more technology you use the easier it may be BUT as well easier to fail if technology fails at that given moment
Deadlines: Presentation must be done during the last 2 hours of class on Wed resp. Thursday. The Wiki and the Blogpage with complements the work done in class are due midnight Saturday Jan 30, 2010. ATTENTION deadline new until END of the month, grading will be done after Saturday, Jan 30 as of midnight!. NOT that i expect MORE work but better ideas! and those sometimes need a bit more thinking time. Ensure that you have a link from your wiki to your blogpage on the TOP (easy to find) and as well have your presentation slides done linked from there (you for example could upload and tag your slides to www.slideshare.com and then link or even embed them on your blogpage... many alternatives are possible, the choice is yours)
Grading sheet from Group B download and then send to lritzel@hotmail.com or place it on my memory stick, name the file after your last name.xls
